GLYNN ARRINGTON Contributed by Barbara Pollard Gilmer Mirror 1993 Funeral services for Glynn Paul Arrington, 73, of Gilmer were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, at Croley Chapel with Bishop Mach Hall officiating. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Arrington died Sunday at his home. Born Oct. 29, 1919 in Pritchett, he was a retired building contractor. he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a World War II Army Veteran, having served in the South Pacific and Aleutian Islands. he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married the former Farris Hill on July 4, 1946 in Gilmer and she survives. Other survivors include one son, Randy Arrington of Gilmer; on daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Audean Coppedge of Gilmer; three brothers, Rozell Arrington, Maruice Arrington and Preston Arrington of Gilmer; one sister, Grace White of Gilmer; and two grandchildren, Paul Daniel Harty and Jared Keith "Bubba" Harty. Pallbearers were Donald Paul Arrington, Joe Arrington, Bobbie Arrington, Robbie Arrington, Jimmy Ray Arrington, Jr. and Jimmy Stephens.
