ROZELLE ARRINGTON Contributed by Barbara Pollard Gilmer Mirror 1993 Funeral Services for Rozelle D. Arrington, 71, of the Pritchett Community were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 6, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Mack Hall officiating. Burial was at Enoch Cemetery under the direction of the Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Arrington died Friday at his home following a short illness. Born Oct. 3, 1921 in Pritchett, he lived here most of his life. He was a retired employee of the Texas Highway Department, Gilmer and was a member of the LDS Church of Gilmer. he served in the Civilian Conservation Corp. prior to his military service of World War II. He was in the Army Air Corp where he was a B-24 Tail Gunner. He married the former Mary Louise Grooms on Feb. 17, 1945 in Kelsey and she survives him. Also surviving are two sons, Robbie and Bobby Arrington of Pritchett; four daughters, Peggy Ray and Kay Arrington of Pritchett, Anita Williams and Shelia Beck of Fort Worth; two brothers, Maurice Arrington and Preston Arrington of Gilmer; one sister, Grace White of Gilmer; and 16 grandchildren.
