Ault, Alvis "B.A." GILMER - Graveside services for Bartholomew Alvis "B.A." Ault, 85, of Longview, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the Kelsey Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert S. Ault and James Christopher Ault officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Ault died Sunday, May 20, 2007, in Longview, Texas. He was born October 20, 1921, in Upshur County, to Joshua Stephen Ault and Mary Magdalene Wilson. He married Mary Lula Denton on June 11, 1949, in Pittsburg, and she preceded him in death. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on April 2, 1964, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Ault had lived in Longview, Texas, since 1965. He was a World War II veteran and a retired U.S. postal worker. He graduated from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor degree in business administration in 1951. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his five sons, Robert S. Ault of Nacogdoches, Texas, Benjamin A. Ault of Longview, Randall C. Ault of Hamilton, Ohio, Lt. Col. James C. Ault of DuPont, Washington and Thomas Michael Ault of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Jessie Lorean Barricklow of Dallas, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 22, 2007, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
