Averett, Maxine 
  	
GILMER -- Graveside services for Maxine Averett, 91, of 
Gilmer, will be held noon Saturday, January 6, 2007, at 
Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, Texas, with Dr. David 
Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Averett passed away Thursday, 
January 4, 2007, in Gilmer. She was born September 23, 
1915, in Gilmer, Texas, to Albert and Lillie Davis Johnson. 
She married Vivian Averett on May 23, 1937, in Gilmer. Mrs. 
Averett was a claim adjuster for Hartford Insurance and a 
Baptist. She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Averett. 
Mrs. Averett is survived by her husband, Vivian Averett of 
Gilmer; sisters, Loraine Borders of Longview, Ruth Snow of 
Pritchett, and Grace Helen Harkins of Dallas; three 
grandchildren, David Averett, Leslie Deen, and Joe Averett; 
and three great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 
11-11:30 a.m. Saturday, prior to services, at Croley Funeral 
Home.
