Bennett, Colton Ethan 


GILMER -- Services for Colton Ethan Bennett, 5, of Gilmer, 
will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted White officiating. Burial 
will be in Little Mound Cemetery. Born September 24, 2000, 
in Mount Pleasant, Texas, he died Friday, September 15, 
2006. He was a kindergarten student at James Poole 
Elementary School. He is survived by his mother and 
stepdad, Crystal Bennett and Dokota Jenkins of Gilmer; 
brother, Christopher Bennett of Gilmer; sister, Catie 
Bennett of Gilmer; two stepsisters, Leisa and Felicity 
Gleason, both of Kilgore; maternal grandparents, Tommy and 
Wanda Cade of Gilmer; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and 
Margaret Reeder of Roxton; great-grandparents, Gloria Jones 
of Mesquite, and George and June Cade of Corsicana; three 
aunts, Audra Collins and Scarlett Hazen, both of Little Elm, 
and Spring Jones of Gilmer; three uncles, Thomas Cade of 
Gilmer, Joe Paul Bennett of Oklahoma, and Matt Haze of 
Little Elm; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was 
preceded in death by his dad, Chad Bennett, on June 30, 2000. 
Pallbearers will be Thomas Cade, Bryan White, Jeff Brockway 
and Joe Paul Bennett. If desired, memorials may be made to 
the Colton Bennett Fund, Gilmer National Bank, Gilmer, Texas 
75644. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today, 
September 18, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
