Brooks, Royal "Goo Goo"

GILMER -- Services for Royal "Goo Goo" Brooks, 49, of 
Gilmer, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at 
Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Turner 
Bros. Mortuary. Mr. Brooks died December 27, 2006, in 
Tyler. Born April 24, 1957, in Gil-mer, he was a Baptist. 
Survivors include his sons, Alex Montez Montgomery and 
Lyle Brooks; daughter, Daniqualon Edwards; brother, 
Russell Brooks Jr.; and sister, Frederica Handy.
