Burnett, Linnie Shirlene Wade GILMER -- Graveside services for Linnie Shirlene Wade Burnett, 76, of Waller, will be 10 a.m. today, February 12, 2007, at Kelsey Cemetery in the Kelsey community of Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mrs. Burnett passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007, at home in Waller after a lengthy illness. Shirlene was born October 28, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Nathan Miller Wade and Emma Leone Moss Wade. She was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Shirlene was preceded in death by her eternal companion of 53 years, Donald Buford; her son, Wade; and her parents. She is survived by her son, Brad and Diane Steele Burnett; daughters, Mika and Harold Bilich, Randi and Richard Rainer, Heather Burnett, Christie and Cliff Atzenhoffer, and Pennie and Harry Bounds; grandchildren, Jana, Wade, Devon, Jeffery, Tanya, Heidi, Samantha, Hal, Jennifer, Linzie, Bobbie, Wendie, Jayme, Nathan, Sophia and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Joy, Chase, Jacob, Kennedy, Brenden, Dylan, Madison, Jacob, Krestyn and Kyle; and brothers, Nate and David Wade. Shirlene was a very loving and patient mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was active in her church and held many positions over the years. She was a very talented seamstress, did impeccably beautiful needlework and was an accomplished pianist. Shirlene retired from The Target Corporation after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Visitation will be at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, 6-8 p.m. today, February 11, 2007.
