Brasher Sr., Dewey Glen DIANA - Services for Dewey Glen Brasher Sr., 83, of Diana, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007, at First United Methodist Church of Ore City, with the Reverend James Knight and the Reverend John Whitehurst officiating. Interment will be in Ore City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Diana. Mr. Brasher passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at his residence. Glen was born March 20, 1924, in Beckville, Texas, to Julius and Gladys Williams Brasher. He was a Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church of Ore City. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Gayla Brasher Breland. Glen is survived by his wife, Faye Brasher; sons and daughters-in-law, Sonny and Sherian Brasher, and Bill and Deborah Brasher; sister, Bettie Puckett; six grandchildren, Clay and Tony Brasher, Sonya Hathorn, Lindsay Bonnette, Jennifer Quaid and Jason Jones; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tony Brasher, Jason Jones, Brian Hathorn, Jon Bonnette, Bob Puckett and Keith Burks.
