Brewer, Calvin Lowery   	

GILMER - Services for Calvin L. Brewer, 80, of Gilmer, will be 11 a.m. Monday, 
October 1, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, with the Rev. Ken Calhoun 
officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Mr. Brewer passed away 
Friday, September 28, 2007, in Gilmer.

Mr. Brewer was born November 25, 1926, in Chillicothe, Texas, to Turner and 
Clara Brewer. He retired from Gilmer ISD as a school teacher and coach, and 
was a member of First United Methodist Church in Gilmer.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Brewer of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, 
Ted and Paula Brewer of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Jimmy and Lea Ann 
Hobbs of Wallis; sister, Mattithealia Williams of Amarillo; grandchildren, 
Holly Posey and her husband, Robert Posey III of Mount Pleasant, Patrick 
Brewer and Logan Brewer,, both of Houston, and Jason Williams of Pennsylvania; 
great-grandchildren, Keelan, Cole, and Kinly Posey, all of Mount Pleasant.

The family will receive friends today, September 30, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at 
Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
