GILMER - Services for L.J. Bishop, 91, Gilmer, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer. 

Burial will be in Willow Oak Cemetery. 

Mr. Bishop died June 14, 2010.

He was born Jan. 24, 1919, in Upshur County to Early Cheston and Lena Bessie Carpenter Bishop. He attended Willow Oak Baptist Church and Union Ridge Methodist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Jeaneatte Bishop, Gilmer; children, Charlotte Jackson, Longview, and Yvonne Youngblood, Gilmer; and grandchildren, Kevin, Brian and Carmen Youngblood.

Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
