Big Sandy ~ Graveside services for L. B. Booty, 87, of Big Sandy, Texas will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Gladewater Memorial Park with Father Mark Dunne officiating. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. L.B. passed on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his home.

L.B. Booty was born to James and Ina Booty in Kisatchie, Louisiana on November 22, 1926. He was a veteran of the Army and worked as a steel worker.

He is survived by his son, L. B. Booty Jr. of Dallas; daughters, Robin Booty of Big Sandy, Kathy Henderson of Jefferson and Ann Eads also of Jefferson; sisters, Dora Jean Sales of Dallas, Ina Lee Trammel of Pasadena, Bobbie Honeycutt of Coldwater, La., Dorothy Wisterman of Ruston, La., and Sharon Nell Bynog of Nachitches, La. and three grandchildren.

Mr. Booty is preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Ina Massey Booty, and his wife, Gertrude Booty.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
