GLADEWATER MEMORIAL - UPSHUR COUNTY


GLADEWATER - Graveside services for Raymond Loyd Boyce, 85, of New Castle, Oklahoma, will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2010, in Gladewater Memorial Park with Bob Boyce officiating. 

Born on March 3, 1925, in Altus, Oklahoma, he died on Saturday, May 1, 2010. 

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II, and he was a Baptist. 

He is survived by one daughter, Pam Barns; two sons, Roger Lynn Boyce and Swain Boyce; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Marie Hanna Antrim, Opal Janes, Joye Altman and Sherry Boyce; and eight brothers, M.A. Boyce, Jerry Boyce, Danny Boyce, Terry Boyce, Bob Boyce, Paul Boyce, Marion Boyce and Garland Boyce. 

Mr. Boyce was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Boyce and Mavis Boyce; stepmother, Marline Boyce; two wives, Lou Boyce and Bertha Boyce; sister, Mourine Routon; four brothers, Bill Boyce, Tam Boyce, Murrel "Buddy" Boyce and Fred Boyce.
