Calvert, Mrs Ida Belle The Gilmer Mirror March 9, 1979 Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Belle Calvert, 85, of Rt.4, Gilmer, were held Thursday morning, March 22, at the Lloyd Funeral Home Chapel. Larry Weber officiated with burial at Shady Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Calvert died Thursday afternoon, March 20, at Gilmer Hospital following a long illness. Born Nov. 2, 1893 in Gilmer, she had lived in Upshur County all of her life and was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church at Little Mound. Survivors include four sons, Leo Green of Timpson, Lemuel Gee of Spokane, Washington, and Frank Calvert and Howard Calvert, both of Gilmer; five daughters, Mrs. Eula Mae Robinson of Cason and Mrs. Floy Belle Duffey, Mrs. Johnnie Lou Sorrells, Mrs. Ilda Pitman and Miss Bertie Calvert, all of Gilmer; one brother, Weldon Murphy of Big Sandy; four sisters, Mrs. Gussie McDonald of Pittsburg, Mrs. Addie Lea Inman of Tyler, Mrs. Jimmie Cannon of Dallas, and Mrs. Minnie D. Blackstone of Big Sandy; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Johnnie Leo Green, Eddie Taylor Calvert, Freddie Gene Robinson, David Calvert, Van Duffey, Tony Calver, Don Smith, Clifford Ray Robinson and Bobby Johnson.
