Chesier, Vanessa Lynne 


GILMER -- Services for Vanessa Lynne Chesier, 9, of Gilmer, 
will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2006, at Croley Funeral 
Home Chapel in Gilmer, with Brother Ray Eastridge officiating. 
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery of Upshur County. 
Vanessa was born September 23, 1996, to Aaron Leon Chesier and 
Lynette Halliday. She passed away July 19, 2006. She is 
survived by her mother and stepfather, Lynette and Jeff 
Halliday of Gilmer; father, Aaron Chesier of Newport, Ark.; 
maternal grandmother, Linda Thorson of Diana; paternal 
grandparents, Shirley and Charles Patterson, and John Chesier; 
sister, Desiree Chesier of Gilmer; stepsister, Ashley Dean 
Halliday of Blossom; and stepbrother, Jeffrey Halliday Jr. of 
Blossom. Pallbearers will be Billy Halliday, Richard Halliday, 
James Grunden, T.J. Harris, Wayne Pope, and Ferris Ellis. The 
family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening, July 
23, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
