Coffey, Dorothy J.   	

GILMER - In loving memory, we announce the passing of Dorothy J. Coffey, 
76, of Pritchett.

Surrounded by her children, she passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007, at 
her home with her beautiful gardens giving her a glorious trail to follow 
in her final journey home.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses; three 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her extended family includes 
brothers and sisters in Oregon; as well as two brothers; and a sister of 
her late husband.

Upon the death of her husband in 2003, she discovered additional talents 
for helping others while working with and for the Upshur County Literacy 
Program. It became a very important part of who she was.

She was very involved with the New Hope Baptist Church and considered the 
entire congregation her family. The support they have shown during this 
time is so appreciated and loved.

To our mother, we send you on your journey with love in our hearts, tears 
in our eyes and wonderful memories to support us along the way.

A joyous memorial service celebrating the life of Dot will be held at 2 
p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007, at New Hope Baptist Church, 9455 St. Hwy. 
155 S., Big Sandy, TX 75755-5151.

In lieu of flowers, she has requested memorial donations be made to the 
New Hope Baptist Church General Fund.
