Edward J. Connor   
 
GLADEWATER -- Graveside services for Edward J. Connor, 82, of Longview, will 
be held on Thursday, April 28, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the Old East Mountain 
Cemetery, with a priest from Saint Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Born 
May 8, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he died on Saturday, April 23, 2005. He was 
a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired postal carrier. He was a member of 
Saint Mary's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Avis 
Connor, of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sandra Connor of 
Diana; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 
6-8 p.m. today at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, TX.
