Cooley, James M.   	

ENNIS - James M. Cooley, 77, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at the Good 
Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

He was born November 10, 1929, in Woodward, Okla., the son of James T. 
and Josephine Nagel Cooley. On August 13, 1955, he was married to Lillian 
Stovall. During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Ore City; a son and his wife, 
Donald and Gay Cooley of Stinnett, Texas; two daughters, Pamela J. 
Brewster of North Richland Hills and Patricia E. Campbell of Arlington; a 
sister, Minnie Joe Steen of Dumas; seven grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007, in 
the Elm Branch Cemetery of Bardwell, with the Rev. Jim Anderson 
officiating, under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American 
Heart Association.
