Couch, J. Frank GILMER -- Services for J. Frank Couch, 84, of Gilmer, will be held 4 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Todd Kaunitz officiating. Mr. Couch passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in Longview. Frank was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Charlie and Junie Greer Couch. He spent some of his childhood in Gilmer, Simpsonville, and Fort Worth. He was a member of the Gilmer Bethesda Lodge No. 142 AF & AM, and a member of the Shriners of Garland, Texas. Frank spent much of his adult life in Dallas, retiring in 1975 from World Gift, where he was a computer programmer and vice president. Mr. Couch was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charlie and Junie Couch; brother, Billy Couch; and a grandson, Samuel Thomas Eatherton. Survivors are daughters, Judy Couch of Amory, Mississippi, Billye Ferguson of Harlingen, Texas, Dawn Eatherton of Gilmer, and Laura Couch of Dallas; grandsons, Jason Hoffman and Bradley Hoffman, both of Dallas; granddaughter, Kimberly Eatherton Parks of Tyler; and great-grandson, Seth Parks of Tyler.
