Crow, Corine 


GILMER -- Corine "Bubba" Crow, 98, passed away in the company of family in Weatherford, 
Texas, on Friday, February 3, 2006. Bubba was greeted at the gates of Heaven by the Good 
Lord and numerous friends and family members that preceded her in death, including her 
husband, Lewis Allen "Pappy" Crow. Born August 12, 1907, in Pritchett, Texas, Corine 
married Lewis on May 15, 1926, and had been blessed to celebrate 73 years of marriage 
upon his death. Bubba lived a successful life as a wife, mother and homemaker by being a 
role model to her children and grandchildren. She was blessed with patience and a large, 
loving heart, and those who knew her were fortunate to experience her warmth and 
generosity. Bubba is survived by her daughter, Bettye Swint and husband, Tom, of 
Weatherford; daughter, Lonnie Fletcher of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Beau, Candy, 
Jim, Joseph, Darrelyn and Kyle; eight great-grandchildren; and four 
great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2006, at Croley 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Toby Easley officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell 
Cemetery. We love and miss you, Bubba, and know you love us. Continue to watch over us and 
tell our Daddies hello. We know your open arms will will welcome us once again.
