Cooper, Russell Allene "Hall" Services for Russell Allene "Hall" Cooper, 86, of Longview, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with the Rev. Ottis Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in the Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery of Gilmer. Mrs. Cooper passed away Monday, July 9, 2007, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Cooper was born January 29, 1921, in New Boston, to Russell A. and Hattie Hugh McDugald Hall. She was a resident of Longview for 52 years. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Pine Forest Baptist Church in Hallsville. She loved to quilt, sew, make jams, jellies and homemade bread. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by a son, Hugh Knox "Punkin" Cooper. Mrs. Cooper is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph McMahon and Brenda Jo Cooper of Gilmer; two daughters and son-in-law, Alice and Buddy Wells, and Russell Allene Gandy of Longview; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
