Darden, Asia LaJean 


GLADEWATER -- Services for Asia LaJean Darden, 14, of Balch 
Springs, formerly of Gilmer, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 
29, 2006, at Gilgal Baptist Church in Gilmer. Interment will 
be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery of Gilmer. Arrangements are 
by Dearion & Davis Funeral Parlor of Gladewater. Asia was 
born December 13, 1991, in Longview, and she died Friday, 
July 21, 2006, at a Dallas hospital. Survivors include her 
mother, Kimberly Mayfield of Balch Springs; father, Ronald 
Darden of Longview; sisters, Ambrel, Annecia, and Destiny 
Darden; brothers, Rondarius, Rontravion, and Rontell Darden; 
grandparents, Ella Jean Tate and Odell Moore; great-grandmother, 
Julia Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing 
will be noon-7 p.m. Friday evening, July 28, 2006, at the 
funeral parlor in Gladewater.
