Davidson, Tommy GILMER -- Services for Tommy Davidson, 68, of Gilmer, will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Gilmer, with the Reverend Todd Kaunitz and Dr. David Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Davidson died October 24, 2006, in Gilmer. He was born June 27, 1938, in Gilmer, to Sam Houston Davidson and Juanita Cowley Davidson. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Davidson was the owner of Davidson Motor Co. and Salvage, and a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Davidson on October 13, 2004. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Tom Davidson of Waskom, and Don and Tammy Davidson of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Helen and Dennis Despain of Gilmer; brothers, Larry Davidson of Gilmer and Billy Davidson of Gilmer; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
