Oneta Ruth Davis

GILMER — Graveside services for Oneta Ruth Davis, 56, of Scroggins will be held at 2 p.m. 
today, Oct. 15, in Grice Cemetery in Upshur County with the Rev. J.L. Cross officiating. 
Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mrs. Davis died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, 
in Gilmer.

She was born Oct. 25, 1945, in Hortense. She was of the Baptist faith, and she had worked 
as a manager at a Dollar Store.

Survivors include her husband, James Davis of Big Sandy; two daughters, Penny Moore of 
Gladewater and Becky Daniel of Longview; three brothers, Dencel Johnson of Tyler, Wilford 
Johnson of Gilmer and Doyle Latham of Hawkins; two sisters, Beckey Yates of Longview and 
Betty James of Big Sandy; and one granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Briggs, Dustin Davidson, Jason James, Curtis Vasquez, Lucas 
Yates and Rowdy Yates.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home.
