GILMER -- Services for John DeGeorge, 86, of Gilmer, formerly of Keller and Grapevine, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel of Gilmer, with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. in Coker Cemetery of Saint Jo. Mr. DeGoerge died August 27, 2006, in Gilmer. Born June 24, 1920, in Bentleyville, Pa., he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II, and retired warehouse manager for Grapevine Colleyville ISD. Survivors include his wife, Marie DeGeorge; son, Gary DeGeorge; daughter, Becky Starnes; brother, Joe DeGeorge; and sister, Carmella Sciulli. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
