Deaton, James A. 


GLADEWATER -- Graveside services for James A. Deaton, 86, of Gladewater, will 
be 11 a.m. today, June 12, 2006, at Gladewater Memorial Park with the Rev. Roger 
Gage officiating. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater. Mr. 
Deaton died June 10, 2006. Born February 13, 1920, in Beckville, he served in the 
U.S. Army 41st Infantry Division in the South Pacific, was a retired sales clerk 
and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Genell Deaton; brother, Van 
Deaton; and sister, Jean Hillin.
