Duke, Mary Maude Jones "Granny"

KILGORE - Memorial graveside services for Mary Maude Jones "Granny" Duke, 
80, of Gladewater, will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007, at Gladewater 
Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dennis Elliott officiating. Arangements are 
by Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mrs. Duke died December 17, 2007, at her 
residence.

Born November 14, 1927, in Albany, she worked at Good Shepherd Hospital as 
a nurse, later retiring from U.T. Tyler as nursing supervisor, and she was 
a member of Resurrection Fellowship Church. Survivors include her twin 
daughters, Ronda Deniece Duke Cearley and Vonda Geniece Duke Henderson; 
sons, John Nathen and Michael Davis Duke; and sister, Lillie Jo Jones 
Scott.
