David Lowell Durbin 
(December 8, 1942 - October 13, 2014)

Services for David Lowell Durbin, 71, of Gladewater, Texas will be 
Friday, October 17, at Clarksville City Baptist at 2:00 p.m. with 
Brother Roger Gage officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset 
Memorial Park. David passed away at a Tyler hospital on Monday, 
October 13, 2014.

David was born in Christian Co., Illinois to Florence Ray Durbin and 
Ruby Pearl Skinner Durbin on December 8, 1942. David was a member of 
the Army and worked as a Mechanic. He married Mable Dean and lived 
in Gladewater, Texas.

David is survived by his wife, daughter, Rebecca Johnson of Longview, 
Texas, brother, Dale Durbin, and 7 grandchildren, Chelsea Gann, 
Cameron Gann, Chad Martin, Andrew Martin, Chris Gann, Casey Gann, 
Clay Gann along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Jeffrey Martin, brothers, 
Ernest, Dallas and Elzie and sisters, Phyliss, Darlene, Velma, and Carolyn.

Visitation will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater in the 
Parlor room on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
