SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY

Graveside service for Mrs. Frances Olivetta Emberlin, 91 of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park with Mark Engel officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Emberlin passed away on Monday, June 22, in Gilmer.

She was born on May 20, 1924, in McKinney, Texas to Carroll “Shorty” Wood and Willie Mae Whittaker Wood. Mrs. Emberlin was a self employed drapery interior designer and a member of The Church of Christ. She loved to crochet, dish mats and was a big supporter of Medina Children’s Home.

Mrs. Emberlin was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William “Bill” Emberlin.

She is survived by her son, Billy Carroll Emberlin of Brownsboro, Texas; grandchildren, Edward Dean Emberlin and wife, Molly of Eugene, Oregon, Etta Christine Emberlin Mill and husband, Richard of Ninilchik, Alaska; great grandchildren, Laek and Colt Emberlin, Brandt and Etolin Mill.
