Fennell, Eddy GILMER - Services for Eddy Fennell, 66, of the Soules Chapel Community of Upshur County, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Soules Chapel Methodist Church in Upshur County, Texas, with the Reverend David Luckert and the Reverend Ross Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Soules Chapel Cemetery of Upshur County, Texas. Mr. Fennell died on Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Gilmer. He was born January 2, 1941, in Upshur County, Texas, to Robert Belton and Ella Garrett Fennell. He served in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from Texas Tech University. On June 16, 1967, he married Wanda Spencer at Soules Chapel. Mr. Fennell was a member and past president of the Upshur County Farm Bureau, past president of Harmony School Board and a member of Soules Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Fennell was a retired dairy farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jack Fennell. Mr. Fennell is survived by his wife, Wanda Fennell of Soules Chapel; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Jesse Lovell of Claude, Texas, and Tina and Damon Rodgers of Olney, Texas; brother, Jerry Fennell of Lindale; sisters, Mary Lou Stuckey of Longview, Jane Snipes of Longview and Gay Castloo of Simpsonville; and three grandchildren, Mattie Kate Lovell, Hunter Lovell and Austin Rodgers.
