Ferguson, Zella   	

DIANA - Services for Zella Ferguson, 93, of Ore City, will be at 10 a.m. 
Thursday, April 5, 2007, at First United Methodist Church sanctuary in 
Ore City, with the Rev. John Whitehurst and the Rev. David Williamson 
officiating. Interment will be in Ore City Cemetery. Arrangements are 
under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.

Zella Lee Ferguson departed this life on Monday, April 2, 2007, after a 
brief stay at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

Mrs. Ferguson was born December 29, 1913, in Thackerville, Okla., to 
Lewis and Mahaley Garnett. She was reared in Davis, Okla., by a special 
aunt and uncle, Maggie and Tom Young. She met and married her husband, 
Loyce H. Ferguson, on July 15, 1934, in Davis, Okla. Zella and Loyce 
were lifelong residents of Ore City.

Mr. Loyce Ferguson preceded her in death on November 26, 1968. She was 
also preceded in death by her brother, Edgar "Buck" Garnett; great-
grandson, Joe Seth Ferguson; and special grandson, Jerry E. Fry.

Zella is survived by her sons, Tommy Ferguson and wife, Anita, and Joe 
"Buddy" Ferguson; daughter, Gail Ferguson Fuller and husband, Lee; nine 
granddaughters; three grandsons; nine great-granddaughters; eight great-
grandsons; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to 
First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 159, Ore City, TX 75683.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, April 4, 2007, at Grubbs-
Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
