Finney, Leisa Lynn 


GILMER -- Services for Leisa Lynn Finney, 40, of Gilmer, will be 
held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home 
Chapel in Gilmer, with Brother T.C. Weatherby officiating. Burial 
will follow in Morris Cemetery of Upshur County, with Larry W. 
Osborne officiating. Mrs. Finney died Monday, August 7, 2006, in 
Gilmer. She was born January 27, 1966, in Longview, to Eugene and 
Lynn Hall Walker Johnson. Leisa was a lifetime resident of Gilmer 
and a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church 
and a charter member of Daughters of the Confederacy No. 412 in 
Marshall. Mrs. Finney was preceded in death by her grandfathers, 
Buster Walker and Jeff Johnson. She is survived by her husband, 
David Finney of Gilmer; father, Eugene Johnson of Gilmer; mother, 
Melva Lynn Walker Hall of Longview; grandmothers, Nadine Walker 
and Joyce Johnson; son, Joshua Stanfield; daughter, Lindsay 
Stanfield; daughter and son-in-law, Nichole and Bryan Seahorn; 
and brothers, Jesse and Cole Johnson, all of Gilmer. Visitation 
was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, August 8, 2006, at the 
funeral home.
