GILMER - Private graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Bea Florence, 
84, of Gilmer, were 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, at 
Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Mason officiating, 
under the direction of Croley Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. 
Florence died Thursday, February 14, 2008, in Gilmer, Texas.
 
She was born May 20, 1922, in Hopkins County, Texas, to George 
Rufus Stout and Minnie Shaw Stout. Mrs. Florence was a legal 
secretary and a member of Gilmer First Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her son, James R. Lago of Corpus Christi; 
daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis and Andy Hurt of Gilmer and 
Donna Gail Wilson of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Rocky 
and Patricia Stout of Rockwall; sisters, Montelle Thomason of 
Gilmer and Marie Irwin of Gilmer; seven grandchildren; seven 
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
