Flores, Francis William Cenci A memorial Mass celebration of life for Francis William Cenci Flores, 54, of Big Sandy, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006. The service will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Longview, with Monsignor Xavier Pappu officiating. Arrangements are with Burks--Walker--Tippit Funeral Directors in Tyler. Mr. Flores passed away Monday, April 2, 2006, at his home in Big Sandy. He was born November 4, 1951, in Rome, Italy, to the late D.L. Flores and Josephine Cenci Flores. He had lived off and on in Big Sandy for 37 years, having also lived in Grapeland, Saudi Arabia, Lake Jackson, and Italy. Mr. Flores attended Tyler Junior College and later served as a staff sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a selmployed oil consultant, drilling expert, and rancher. He was a member of the NRA and Delta Waterfowl, and attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Longview. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Flores of Big Sandy; a brother, Marcus Cenci Flores of Tyler; three daughters, Memory Flores of Elkhart, Michelle Woods, and Angela Burch and her husband, Brian, all of Big Sandy; two sons, Clint Flores of Longview, and Justin Flores and wife, Penny, of Big Sandy; and six grandchildren, Austin, Danielle, Jessica, Jackson, Cheyenne, and Drennon. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Blevins, Bobby Williams, John Harrell, John Wyze, Mike Wood, Ike Poore, and Tony Matthews.
