Franklin, Nina Mae 


GILMER -- Memorial services for Nina Mae Franklin, 87, of Gilmer, will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2006, at First Assembly of God Church, with the Reverend K.F. Charles officiating. Mrs. Franklin died Saturday, September 9, 2006, in Gilmer. She was born September 17, 1918, in Peach, to A.E. Hays and Mary Moon Hays. She married Benjamin Gerald Franklin in 1942, and he preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. Franklin was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Franklin is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Wanda Franklin of Gilmer; daughter, Jane Adams of Dallas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening, September 14, 2006.
