Frantz, Mayme K. "Jackie" GLADEWATER -- Services for Mayme K. "Jackie" Frantz, 97, of Gladewater, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jamie Eitson officiating. Burial will be in West Mountain Cemetery. Born January 16, 1909, she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 3, 2007. She was a homemaker, a member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was preceded in death by husband, John Fredic Frantz; three sons, Edward Frantz, Glen Frantz, and Joe Frantz; granddaughter, Lana Gay Frantz; and 10 siblings. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Linda Frantz of Midland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and James Wheeler of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Ruth James Melton of Longview; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Rosie Eitson of Hawkins; sister, Lena Maude Wilbanks of Hawkins; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Boy Cockatiel. Pallbearers will be Carlo Eitson, George Linton, Tony Camp, Bill Moore, Kathy Bressler, and Angela Camp. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kenneth Skipper and his staff, and the staff of Texas Home Health Hospice for their kindness and caring help. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the Disabled Veterans.
