Jennieve Warnett Pope Gage


GILMER - Funeral services for Jennieve Warnett Pope Gage, 86, of Tomball, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, 
June 16, 2009, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Noel Venn, Tracy DeWayne Johnson and Ryan Keith 
Parker officiating. Interment will be in Hoover Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under 
the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Gage passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at a 
Tomball assisted living facility.

Mrs. Gage was born December 30, 1922, to Lester Willie and Essie Corine Pope, in Jacksonville, Texas. 
She was a hairstylist for many years before becoming tax assessor collector for Gladewater ISD and 
the city of Gladewater.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Robert Johnson of Leander and Romona and 
Keith Parker of Tomball; brother-in-law, Delward C. Gage of East Mountain; sister-in-law, Juanita Gage 
of Dallas; grandchildren and spouses, Candy and David Ingle of Dallas, Tracy and Kristina Johnson of 
Tyler, Amanda and Trevor Botts of Dallas and Ryan Parker of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
