Gipson, Valrea Moon GILMER -- Services for Valrea Moon Gipson, 90, of Gilmer, will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Gary Mason officiating. Burial will be in Simpsonville Cemetery. Born February 14, 1916, in Pittsburg, she died Sunday, May 28, 2006. Mrs. Gipson was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the First Baptist Church Quilters. She is survived by two daughters, Myrtle Skinner of Gilmer, and Sharon Gipson of Austin; four grandchildren, Julia Skinner, Becky Martin, Brenda Skinner, and Greg Kopetsky; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Gipson was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Della Moon; and her husband, Mausell Oliver Gipson. Pallbearers will be Justin Taylor, Omega McCellon, Kevin Habibelabian, Dennis Gipson, Greg Kopetsky, and Ricky Gipson. If so desired, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, or the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
