Maggie Ellen Greer

Funeral services for Maggie Ellen Greer, 100, Lindale, were scheduled for 
2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Shady Grove Church of Christ, Lee Peters and 
Steve Nevill officiating.

Interment was scheduled at Shady Grove Cemetery, arrangements under direction 
of Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer.

Mrs. Greer passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, in Lindale.

She was born Sept. 13, 1906 in Shady Gove to R.A. and Belle Mayfield. She was 
a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Greer and son James 
Harvey Greer, Jr.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Ellen and Charles Greer of 
Abilene; Aquilla Phelps of Lindale; Juanita and Alton Whitlock of Big Sandy 
and Margaret and Ben Starr of Lindale; sister Mildred Goates, Fort Worth; 20 
grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
