Griffith, Velma Charlene 

GILMER -- Services for Velma Charlene Puckett Griffith, 73, 
of Big Sandy, will be 10 a.m. today, September 14, 2006, at 
New Hope Baptist Church in Big Sandy, with Brother David 
Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Hoover Cemetery 
of Big Sandy. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home of 
Gilmer. Mrs. Griffith was born October 31, 1932, in Eustace, 
and she died September 11, 2006. Survivors include her husband, 
Roy Winston; daughters, Lora Western and Jenny Duncan; son, 
Gary Griffith; and sister, Joyce Cessna.
