Guest, JoAnn VERMILION, Ohio - JoAnn Guest, 64, of Ore City, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born January 1, 1943, in Memphis, Tenn. She had been a Vermilion, Ohio resident for 33 years, before moving to Ore City, in 1994. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion, Ohio, and the First Baptist Church in Ore City. She enjoyed bowling, shopping trips with her grandchildren, Bingo, cooking and family cookouts. Preceding her in death were her father, Joseph L. Davis; and a sister, Faye Worley. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Wesley Guest of Ore City; sons, Tim Guest of Ore City, Thomas Guest of Vermilion, Ohio, Bill Guest of Ore City and Donald Guest of Vermilion, Ohio; daughters, Terry Shattuck of Ore City, Donna Morris of Vermilion, Ohio, Ginny Crow of Vermilion, Ohio, Lori Guest of Lorain, Ohio and Jamie Cook, Ore City; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruthie Zurka, Gail Dodson and Dianna Garrison, all of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Edward Howard and Thomas Wayne Garrison, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and her mother, Melba Garrison of Memphis, Tenn. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Guy Morton will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Ohio Division Inc., 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
