Goodwin, A.D. "Dan"   	

GILMER - Services for A.D. "Dan" Goodwin, 76, of Gilmer, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, 
December 1, 2007, at Antioch Baptist Church in the Grice Community, with the Rev. 
David Snelson and the Rev. Ray Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Grice 
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Mr. Goodwin passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at his residence.

Mr. Goodwin was born July 31, 1931, in Panola County, to John Henry and Beatrice 
Goodwin. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member 
of Antioch Baptist Church.

Dan was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Pat Goodwin; three brothers; and 
a sister.

Mr. Goodwin is survived by a son, Danny Goodwin of Gilmer; daughter, Renee Rinehart 
of Gilmer; granddaughter, Erin Rinehart of Gilmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today, November 30, 2007, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral 
Home in Gilmer.
