Hale, Lester V. "Cattail" 

GILMER -- Services for Lester V. "Cattail" Hale, 73, of Gilmer, 
will be 11 a.m. today, July 22, 2006, at New Hope Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Keith Covington officiating. Burial will follow in 
New Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by Turner Bros. Mortuary. Mr. 
Hale died July 15, 2006, in Stockton, Calif. Born May 5, 1933, in 
Gilmer, he was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, 
Dorothy Bowen Hale; sons, Donnie Hale and Lester Williams; 
daughters, Yvonne Davis, Dorothy Hale, Esther Fudge, Leslie Brown, 
Dijuana Hale, Tina Latham, and Darnis Brooks; brothers, Huey Lee 
Hale, Edcar Hale, Jameston L. Hale, Arthur G. Hale, and Aldean 
Hale; and sisters, Dorothy Mae Hale and Sidney Denise Hale.
