GILMER -- Graveside services for Edith Lillian Hawkins, 85, of Gilmer, will be held 
10 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006, at Sand Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas, 
with the Reverend J.C. Henderson officiating. Born February 2, 1921, in Lamar County, 
Texas, she died Monday, February 6, 2006, in Gilmer. She was a homemaker and a member 
of Sand Hill Baptist Church in Upshur County, Texas. She is survived by sons and 
daughters-in-law, Randall and Judy Hawkins of Gilmer, and Rodger and Pat Hawkins of 
Mabank; son, Joey Hawkins of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Janell and Danny Berry 
of Gilmer; sister, Ethel Jones of Foreman, Arkansas; a special granddaughter, Crystal 
Hawkins of Gilmer; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight 
great-great-grand- children. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. this evening, February 8, 
2006, at the funeral home.
