Helpenstill, John E. 

GILMER -- Graveside services for John E. Helpenstill, 68, of Cumby, will be 2 p.m. 
Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Brother Carl Amburn 
officiating. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mr. Helpenstill 
died April 27, 2006. Born February 18, 1938, in Livingston, he was a U.S. Navy 
veteran, a welder, and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his son, Steve 
Eckert; daughters, Nancy Cross and Carol Helpenstill; and sisters, Virginia Kilgore, 
Wilma Powell, Novelle Warren, and Bonnie Randolph. No formal visitation is scheduled.
