Henke, Lanell GILMER -- Services for Lanell Henke, 70, of Gilmer, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with the Reverend Brian Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Soules Chapel Cemetery of Upshur County. Mrs. Henke passed away Friday, June 2, 2006, in Gilmer. Mrs. Henke was born February 10, 1936, in Soules Chapel Community, to Frank Milford and Eula Corene Fennell Hill. She was a floral designer until her retirement, and she was a member of Soules Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Henke lived most of her life in the Tyler area. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Pamela Rowden, in 1992. Mrs. Henke is survived by brothers, Charles and Max Hill of Tyler; sisters, Frances Hymer of Gilmer, Edna Ruth Gipson of Lubbock, and Evelyn Detwiler of Tyler; granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson and her husband, Steven Johnson, of Noonday; grandson, Jeffrey Taylor and his wife, Maren Taylor, of Tyler; great-granddaughter, Maddison Johnson; great-grandson, Tanner Taylor; and son-in-law, Robert Rowden of Tyler. Pallbearers will be Steven Johnson, Jeff Taylor, Mark Trim, Jim Hymer, Richard Hymer, Mike Hymer, and Stash Veller. Memorials may be made to the Soules Chapel United Methodist Church; or Soules Chapel Cemetery, 5208 Whale Rd., Gilmer, TX 75644.
