Hill, J.B. 


GILMER -- Services for J.B. Hill, 89, of Gilmer, are scheduled for 
10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with 
the Reverend David Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in 
Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Hill died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Gilmer. 
Mr. Hill was born December 9, 1916, in Upshur County, to Mart and 
Lula Mae Jones Hill. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World 
War II, and he was a retired mechanic from the Diana schools. Mr. 
Hill is survived by his son, Jeff Hill of Gilmer; step-sons, Gwinn 
Corley of Pensacola, Fla., Rolan Corley of Gilmer, and Mickey Corley 
of Malakoff; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be Audie Covin, Billy Steele, Wayne Hagler, Danny 
Bryant, Alan Henson, and Jerry Meaders. Visitation will be from 6-8 
p.m. Friday evening, July 7, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.
