Holman, William "Bill" Services for William "Bill" Holman, of East Mountain, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry "C.C." Gower officiating. Mr. Holman died December 27, 2006, at a local medical center. Born February 9, 1929, in Fairview Alpha, La., he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean conflict and Vietnam war, and longtime Bio Derm employee. Survivors include his wife, Jane Marie Holman; daughters, Shelley Muzzy, Meloney Silva, and Dawn Arnett; brothers, Allen Holman and Hodge Holman; and sisters, Lillie Garrett, Terri Grant, and Diane Young. Mr. Bill was born February 9, 1929, in Fairview Alpha, Louisiana. Mr. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Josephine Holman Woodall, and father, Leon Holman. He is survived by wife, Jane Marie Holman; daughters, Shelley Muzzy of Bellingham, Washington, Meloney Silva of Sparks, Nevada, and Dawn Arnett of Reno, Nevada; beloved nephew, Rocky Heathcock of Greenville, North Carolina; brothers, Allen Holman of East Mountain, Texas, and Hodge Holman of Warren City, Texas; sisters, Lillie Garrett of Shreveport, Louisiana, Terri Grant of Gilmer and Diane Young of Gilmer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at Welch Funeral Home from 1-5 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2007. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
