Funeral services for Oscar Hale, 98, of Gilmer will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Valley View Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvel L. Davis officiating. 

Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Turner Brothers Mortuary. 

Mr. Hale died Tuesday, Nov. 28, at his home.
