Hale, Sandra Kay   	

GLADEWATER - Sandra Kay Hale, 58, of Longview, formerly of Midland, died 
April 19, 2007, at a Dallas hospital.

Born September 23, 1948, in Longview, Texas, she has been a resident of 
Longview for many years. Sandra retired in 1997 from Southwestern Bell 
after 27 years of service. She enjoyed her retirement, and spent her time 
traveling and visiting her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Todd Strickland and his wife, Stephanie of 
Midland; daughters, Amanda Bledsoe and her husband, Barry, of Midland, 
and Erin Martinez of Dallas; six grandchildren, Taylor Strickland, Kayla 
Strickland, Kobi Strickland, Layne Banks, Dayden Bledsoe, Haylee Bledsoe 
and Cheyenne Bledsoe; mother, Tommie Harris and her husband, Earl; father, 
Odis Atkins and his wife, Polly; six brothers; special friend, Mary 
Strickland; and many other loving family members.

Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Dianne Luman; and 
grandson, Tyler Strickland.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007, at Croley Funeral 
Home, with burial to follow in Gladewater Memorial Park under the direction 
of Croley Funeral Home, 401 N. Center Street Gladewater, Texas.

A gathering of family and friends will be today, April 22, 2007, from 
6-9p.m. at the funeral home.
