Born October 22, 1930, in Big Sandy, she entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 5, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Big Sandy. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert and Trey Herndon Jr. of Gladewater and Donald and Sally A. Herndon of Jefferson, Ohio; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Jim Oller of Gladewater, Kitten Marie Hotard and Karl Gilgenast of Bossier City, La. and Sandra Jones of Waco; three stepsons, Joe Haley Jr., Gordon Haley and Eugene Haley; three sisters and brother-in-law, Juanita Brewer of Dadeville, Ala., Jean Regeon of Tyler and Betty and Charles Walker of Twin City, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, Brandie Laney, Chuck Herndon, Joseph Herndon, Bob Broussard, Cheyenne Herndon, Scott Rice, Brian Rice, Stephanie Mullins, Christopher Welk, Jennifer Bailey and Chelsie Jones; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granchildren.
